Lorenzo Waters

Lorenzo Waters

Lorenzo is a Detroit-based artist working out of the PASC Detroit Studio. He was one of the inaugural members of the PASC Virtual studio, but now attends in person. He is prolific, working quickly across the whole page, layering various drawing and painting media into rich, colorful abstract compositions. Over the past year Lorenzo has added a body of text-based artworks to his repertoire, recounting information from the storied Detroit Bablo boat to information about the Detroit River. Lorenzo is a warm, positive, and inclusive conversationalist and enthusiastically shares a supportive art practice with others. A nostalgic Detroit historian, you can regularly find him sporting a captain’s hat in homage to the Boblo Boat and the Detroit Princess, his favorite local cruise ships.

Lorenzo has exhibited at the Lansing Shuffle, Lansing, MI (2025); and the PASC Detroit Gallery, Detroit, MI (2024/25). His artwork has been exhibited at art fairs such as Creativity Explored x Open Invitational, San Francisco, CA (2026).
