Jeremy is a Westland-based artist working out of the PASC Westland studio. Jeremy’s artwork focuses on expressive representation, featuring portraits of staff, famous cartoon characters, and the puppetry of Sesame Street and the Muppets. He brings these figures to life with contrasting colors and strong, gestural linework. Inspired by the puppetry itself, Jeremy also creates sculptural masks, often based on these characters. He works mostly with acrylic paint, sometimes watercolors.
Jeremy's artwork has been exhibited at the PASC Detroit Gallery, Detroit, MI (2024); the Art Gallery at Westland City Hall, Westland, MI (2023/24/25/26); Madison Heights Civic Center, Madison Heights, MI (2023); the PASC Detroit Pop-Up Gallery (2022); and the PASC Southgate Gallery, Southgate, MI (2021). He has been featured at the NADA art fair presented by White Columns Gallery, Miami, FL (2024), and, as of 2024, his artwork has been acquired by the Cranbrook Art Museum for their permanent collection.
