Paul Carter

Paul is an artist who works out of the PASC Detroit studio. In his artworks he creates gestural and patterned abstractions from overlapping text, sometimes using his name or other's names, numbers and brightly colored gestures. His artworks are made using a combination of media, mainly acrylic paint and watercolor, with the occasional use of patterned colored pencils. He works in a large spectrum of colors, often adding contrast with light or dark additions. His work has been shown in Art is a Human Right, Detroit, MI (2022) and From Every Direction, Westland, MI
