Lauren is a Detroit-based artist working out of the PASC Detroit Studio. She gravitates toward positive, idealized images of active people, unicorns, and holidays. Her style of painting with thick impasto gives her positive images an almost uncanny weight. In addition, Lauren often duplicates each painting with its identical twin, where only the subtlest differences are perceivable to a keen observer.

Lauren has exhibited at the PASC Detroit Gallery, Detroit, MI (2025); University of Michigan, Institute for the Humanities, Ann Arbor, MI (2025); BasBlue, Detroit, MI (2024); MOCAD, Detroit, MI (2023); and the PASC Southgate Gallery, Southgate, MI (2022).
