Ryan Mcdonagh

Ryan is a Redford based artist who works at the PASC Westland Studio. He is interested in understanding the full picture of objects in the world, from their history to how they work. His artwork has varying subjects from lighthouses, to vehicles, to houses, to exotic fish. He uses drawing and watercolor to render his subjects in a manner as if trying to understand these objects in four dimensions. His work has been presented at MOCAD, Detroit (2023), The Art Gallery at Westland City Hall, Westland, MI (2022/2023), and The Scarab Club (2021).
