Nathaniel McNeal Jr.

Nathaniel is a Detroit-based artist who works out the PASC Detroit studio. Most of his artwork features subjects with faces; animals, people and fictional characters. Each face is rendered in high detail, with a personality and charm that evokes a story behind their eyes for the viewer. Nathaniel also draws less animate objects, such as architecture and maps, which include equal amount of personality and detail.
His artwork has been presented with the University of Michigan, Institute for the Humanities, Ann Arbor, MI (2025); the PASC Detroit Gallery, Detroit, MI (2024); PASC at BasBlue, Detroit, MI (2024); the Ford Art Gallery WCCC, Detroit, MI (2023); Padzieski Gallery, Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, Dearborn, MI (2023); The Art Gallery at City Hall, Westland, MI (2022/2023/2024).
