Promise is a Westland based artist working out of the PASC Westland studio. Promise’s artwork combines whimsical vibrant gestures and symbolic imagery such as flowers, smiley faces, hearts and stars, built through energetic layering like a multi-track song. She composes her works by overlapping mixed media, markers, gel pens, colored pencils, watercolors and acrylic. When Promise is outside the studio she is often found practicing music on the cello.

Promise’s work has been shown at the PASC Detroit Gallery, Detroit, MI (2024/25); the University of Michigan, Institute for the Humanities, Ann Arbor, MI (2025); PASC Southgate Gallery, Southgate, MI (2025); PASC At/And Chap Lofts, Detroit, MI (2023); Reyes|Finn Gallery, Detroit, MI (2023); the Detroit Repertory theatre, Detroit, MI (2022); PASC Detroit Pop-Up Gallery (2022); and Art Enables, Washington, DC (2022). Her artwork has also been featured at the NADA art fair presented by White Columns Gallery, Miami, FL (2024).
